Venice is Saved! But for How Long?
The sea level around Venice recently reached the highest level in record history, but life was able to go on as usual thanks to MOSE (an Italian acronym for Experimental Electromechanical Module). However, it took so long to put MOSE together (50 years in the making) that there is now the inevitable question of how long will it be able to serve its purpose before the need for something bigger and better comes along?
