Siberia Experiencing Worst Heat Wave in History
Siberia is experiencing a wave of extreme heat, with temperature records being broken at unusually high latitudes. Last Saturday, Jalturovosk reached its hottest day in history at 37.9 degrees Celsius (100.2 Fahrenheit). Since then, more temperature records have fallen, including Baevo at 39.6 degrees Celsius (103.3 Fahrenheit) and Barnaul at 38.5 degrees Celsius (101.3 Fahrenheit).
