Cigarette Butts Can Now Be Recycled Into Asphalt for Roads
Bratislava is pioneering a novel approach to cigarette butt recycling, aiming to place specially designed containers at public events to collect discarded cigarettes. In collaboration with the Bratislava City Council and companies SPAK-EKO and EcoButt, the waste management firm OLO plans to transform cigarette butts into asphalt for roads, contributing to a cleaner environment and material recovery.
