California Homeowners Loses Another Major Insurance Company
Another major insurance company, Allstate, has joined State Farm in discontinuing the provision of new insurance policies to residents of California. Allstate had previously announced its intention to cease offering new policies to homeowners in the state, and it is now following through on that plan. Although Allstate refers to this move as a “pause” in their service, it effectively means they will no longer be issuing new homeowner insurance policies in California.
