Arch. Yasmeen Lari Receives Prestigious Royal Gold Medal
Professor Yasmeen Lari, Pakistan’s first female architect, has been awarded the 2023 Royal Gold Medal for architecture by the Royal Institute of British Architects. This prestigious award recognizes her outstanding contributions in promoting zero-carbon self-build solutions for displaced communities. The medal, personally approved by King Charles III, is one of the highest honors in the field and will be presented to Lari in June 2023.
