Addition of Category 6 Classification for Hurricanes Being Considered

The current hurricane classification system, the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, is criticized for failing to adequately address the diverse risks posed by hurricanes, including storm surge and rainfall, as major hurricanes become more frequent and intense.
